Frequently asked questions
What can I set an alert on?
Any coin, stock or currency in Flicker except stablecoins. There are ten alert types: price level, percentage move, zone entry, breakout, trend reversal, momentum divergence, money flow, volume spike, RSI and Fear & Greed.
Where do notifications arrive?
As a push from the Flicker app on iOS or Android, or in this browser once you allow notifications. There are no email or SMS notifications. An alert can be saved only once a phone or browser is set up to receive its notifications; until then, saving asks you to allow notifications here.
How fast does a notification arrive?
Price-level alerts are checked every few seconds against prices that refresh every 30 seconds for coins and every minute for stocks and currencies. Percentage, zone and analysis alerts follow data that refreshes every 15 minutes.
Does an alert fire more than once?
No. Each alert fires once, then leaves your list; set it again to keep watching the level. The one exception is Pro's market-wide breakout alert, which fires for each asset that breaks out, and again once that asset's setup resets.
Is it free?
Yes. A free account runs up to 10 active alerts at a time, of every type, on the daily timeframe. Pro removes the cap and adds other timeframes, market-wide zone and breakout alerts, and a risk-to-reward filter on zone alerts.
Can I edit or pause an alert later?
Yes. Open Alerts to change a level, pause an alert or delete it. A paused alert doesn't count toward the free limit.
