How Flicker works

How Does Flicker's Buy/Hold/Sell Analysis Work?

What Flicker's Buy, Hold, and Sell verdict actually measures, how it's calculated, and how to read it alongside your own research.

Every asset Flicker tracks gets a Buy / Hold / Sell verdict β€” a single read on whether the technical setup currently favors buying, holding, or selling.

What the verdict shows

The verdict condenses standard technical analysis β€” trend, momentum, volume, and volatility indicators β€” into one call, plus a written breakdown of what's driving it. It's built to answer the question a trader actually asks: "does this look like a buy, or not?" β€” without requiring you to read five indicators yourself.

How it's calculated

Flicker runs the same technical analysis a trader would do by hand: moving averages, RSI, MACD, volume trends, and support/resistance levels, combined into a single directional read. Nothing here is a paid placement β€” assets aren't ranked because anyone paid for visibility, and the same methodology applies to every asset Flicker tracks.

Timeframes and Pro access

The daily (1D) read is free for every asset. Other timeframes, shorter and longer (such as 1h, 4h and 1W), are part of Flicker Pro, since traders on different horizons need the read calculated over a different window.

Analysis, not financial advice

The verdict is informational, not investment advice. It reflects current technical conditions, not a guarantee of future price action β€” treat it as one input alongside your own research and risk management, not a replacement for either.

Where to find it

Search or open any asset page to see its current verdict, or use the market screener to scan verdicts across the whole market at once.
