This statement covers the Flicker website at flicker.finance. It does not cover the Flicker mobile apps.
1. The standard we aim for
We aim for the website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the level that the European standard EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act refer to.
2. Where the website stands
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: most of it meets the standard, and the parts listed in Section 4 do not yet. No independent auditor has assessed it. We check it ourselves, against the guidelines, as part of our regular design and code reviews.
3. What the website does
- A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing you reach with the keyboard on every page.
- Every link, button and field can be reached and used with a keyboard, and shows a visible focus ring.
- Gains and losses are never shown by colour alone: every figure carries its sign or an arrow.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to hit on a touch screen.
- Animations follow your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- The website is available in English, Russian, Spanish, French, Turkish, Indonesian and Chinese.
4. Known limitations
- Interactive price charts are drawn as images. A screen reader cannot read the price history inside a chart. The current price and its change are always written out as text on the same page.
5. Tell us about a problem
If something on the website is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply and, where we cannot fix the page straight away, give you the information another way.
6. If you are not satisfied
If you live in the European Union and our reply does not solve the problem, you can contact the authority that enforces the European Accessibility Act in your country.
